Jr Purple drivers are not allowed to enter into adult pro classes. Jr drivers are not allowed to cross over to run different plate classes. Example Jr racer cannot run Green and Purple.

Burris SS-33a’s on all Pro Clone, LO206, Predator and Jr flat karts.

SS-33a or 55’s on Jr and Sr Champ karts. All adult Pro classes ages 15 and up.

Sr. Champ, Predator and LO206 ages 13 and up.

LO206 Drum Clutch ages 13+

Kids Karts 4-7 years old.50cc COMER or 3HP 79cc Predator Engine. Must run restrictor. Open tire. Kids Kart chassis.

Box Stock Predator ages 13+ disconnect low oil sensor 10.8lb valve springs. 31 main jet max. Maximum 5,500 RPM on stand. Governor stays in tact and surges. May remove tank. Add clutch guard. Pro Clone Drivers cannot enter Predator class.

Big pipe and open clutch AKRA and NKA engine rules. Must declare at Tech.

All 15 lap features, 15 minute time limit.

All 20 lap features, 20 minute time limit.

Kids Karts 10 laps 15 minutes.

Red Plate 12 laps 15 minutes.

Consi’s 10 laps 10 minutes

2 caution rule in all classes (if you are charged with 2 cautions in a consi or feature, you will be black flagged except kids kart and red plate

Must qualify in your group, or you don’t qualify. No exceptions.

Kart must be down on the grid when the white flag comes out in the previous race. Failure to have your kart on the grid at the white flag will result in starting at the tail.

All transponders must be mounted at the bottom of the steering shaft.

PARKING

Reserved parking can be purchased via FRIENDS AND FAMILY PayPal. Your spot is only reserved when payment is received.

If payment is not received, your requested parking will be given away. Please remember this is $20 per spot reserved parking. Sponsor parking will be closest to the grid.

Please be sure to let us know your trailer size and towing vehicle if other than a pick up/van. See below:

GENERAL RULES

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF RISK

Go kart racing involves risks and dangers; everyone entering the restricted pit area is required to become aware of them and understand that the management of Midwest Race of Champions or Eldora Speedway Little E and sponsors shall not be responsible for accidents/injuries/theft.

The following guidelines have been established to provide for the orderly conduct of Midwest Race of Champions events. Officials of Midwest Race of Champions shall be empowered to permit minor deviations from any of the guidelines herein. In all instances, the decision of the Race Director shall be final.

Waiver of Liability:

1. All persons are required to read, understand and individually sign a Waiver of Liability prior to purchasing a pit pass.

2. A Pit Pass will be issued upon signing the waiver and paying the fee. When you sign into the pits: YOU ARE AGREEING TO ALL RULES WRITTEN AND UNWRITTEN, and to abide by the decision of the of race director and track officials.

3. This Pit Pass is not transferable and must worn by the signee and displayed at all times.

4. Minors under the age of 18, along with the parents/guardians, will be required to complete a 2024 Minor Release and Consent form.

5. No Golf Carts, 4-Wheelers, Mini-bikes, etc. at Little E.

TRACK MISCONDUCT & PENALTIES

All persons in the pit area and on the racing surface are expected to conduct themselves in a sportsmanlike manner.

1. THROWING A PUNCH OR ANY PHYSICAL FIGHTING: YOU WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE THE TRACK IMMEDIATELY. This includes but not limited to illegal drugs, drug paraphernalia, weapons, foul language and/or obscene gestures.

2. Driver will not be allowed to race if anyone in their pit area does not have a PIT PASS. DO NOT PARK IN THE PIT AREA UNLESS YOU HAVE A KART.

3. NO DRIVING IN THE PIT AREA. Drivers must stop karts before passing the scale.

4. Unsportsmanlike Conduct: THIS IS DEFINED AS SWEARING, PUSHING, SHOVING, OBSCENE LANGUAGE OR GESTURES.

Remember: The driver is responsible for anyone in their pit area. The registered driver is responsible for the actions of his/her pit crew and those associated with his/her kart. This includes parents/guardians of junior underaged drivers.

Persons that are instructed to leave the property are not subject to refunds of any kind (this includes race winnings).

GENERAL RULES

1. AKRA or NKA clone engine rules. Must be declared before tech.

2. Change of engine after Qualification: Notify the technical inspector and get his approval. Give the engine to the technical inspector to hold for possible later inspection. If you end up in tech after the Feature, both motors will be checked per tech for that position.

3. Pit Buggies: Pit buggies will not be allowed within the grid area.

4. No one permitted on racetrack at any time without race official’s permission

5. Unsportsmanlike driving penalties will be accessed by incident, and competitors will be immediately removed from the track. If the incident occurs on the last lap, the driver will still be penalized for Unsportsmanlike Conduct and will be scored last.

6. No Driving through the pits.

7. All tires must be Burris tires. Flat karts SS-33a and Champs SS-33a or 55 tire rule. Tires must have a compound stamped on them.

8. UAS AllStars open tire rule - no treaded tires

RACE RULES – START TO FINISH

1. Transponders: Any driver who loses their transponder will be responsible for replacing it. Replacement cost of a transponder is $285+. Transponders need to be attached at the bottom of the steering shaft.

2. Qualification: Group qualifying. You must be in your group to qualify. If you are not in your group you do not qualify.

3. If your kart loses power for any reason during the race, go to the infield as quickly, and safely, as possible.

4. Once the checkered flag is thrown, the race is final!!

5. No racing back to the caution flag.

6. No work is allowed on any kart during a red flag.

7. Move to the far inside of the track to allow the ambulance crew access to the accident.

8. No one is allowed in the scoring tower or steps. Entry without permission will result in removal of event.

BLACK FLAG SITUATIONS

1. If you are black flagged for any reason, GET OFF THE TRACK IMMEDIATELY!!!! If you do not get off the track, you will be disqualified from the event.

2. Drivers spinning out after the start will be sent to the rear. Any kart causing 2 “cautions” in 1 race will be black flagged. If a driver intentionally spins out, he/she will be black flagged.

3. If you exit the track during a race do not come back on the track, otherwise driver will be disqualified.

PRE TECH

1. Helmets must be Snell 2015 or newer approved. Bring your helmet to pre tech.

2. All weights must be painted white, double nutted or lock nut, drilled and safety clipped.

3. All steering wheel bolts must be safety wired.

4. Steering column must be safety wired or pinned.

5. Transponders must be attached at the bottom of the steering shaft.

6. Tie rod bolts must be pinned.

7. Muffler cannot protrude past rear bumper.

8. Rear axle must have snap rings.

9. Front spindles must be pinned.

10. Seat can't protrude past rear axle.

11. Arm restraints mandatory for all champ karts, Jr. and Sr. drivers.
